In this mission, you’re imagining energy systems that power homes, schools, cities - even entire planets! Each bold idea you design helps us create a future that’s more connected. All imagined by you! 🔋

We are going to use the Engineering Design Process: Ask (why it matters), Research, Imagine, Plan, Create, Test and Improve.

Look at real-world ideas like:

  • Smart grids connecting cities

  • Solar farms and wind farms

  • Battery energy storage systems

  • Power transmission and distribution networks

Search online, explore diagrams, or think about where energy comes from in your daily life to inspire your design.

Grab a pen and paper to start sketching out your world showing: 

  • Where energy is generated

  • How it’s stored and shared

  • How energy travels safely

  • Who and what uses the energy

This is just the planning stage – so it does not have to be perfect!

Now go beyond just imagining your map to plan and build out your world.👷‍♀️

Consider who or what would benefit from your future energy world creation?💭

Think outside the box for solutions that might benefit your local community!🌈

Add your ideas to bring into focus your world. Remember it can be on Earth, in the sky, underground, or even somewhere totally new! Use pens, pencils, digital art tools—or even an AI art generator to bring your vision to life!

Share your design with a family member, teacher, or friend. Ask:

  • What would they add or improve?

  • Is it safe, cost-effective and fun?

  • Would they want to live in your future energy world?

Use their feedback to make your design even better!

Write 4–6 sentences explaining:

  1. How your future energy world works

  2. How people stay connected and safe

  3. Your favourite innovative feature

  4. What makes your design sustainable and exciting

anything that fits your vision!
