Challenge 4 Guide:

Create a Game Changer App!!

Simply follows steps 1 to 5 to be in this challenge prize draw 😲

Step 1: Define Your App Idea

📌 Goal: Create an app that helps you save money for a special event with your BFFs.
💡 Example App Idea: Bestie Bank – A fun and social savings app where girls can save individually or as a squad for exciting events like concerts, birthday parties, or shopping trips.

Step 2: Plan the Key Features

Use these guiding questions to design your app’s unique features:

1️⃣ What does the app allow users to do?
✅ Set savings goals for special events
✅ Create savings squads with BFFs
✅ Track progress visually (piggy bank fills up!)
✅ Earn fun rewards & badges for milestones
✅ Get money-saving tips & challenges

2️⃣ Why would girls need this app?
💖 It makes saving fun, social, and easy!
💖 Helps users avoid spending money impulsively.
💖 Teaches smart financial habits in a creative way.

3️⃣ What makes it different?
✨ Social Saving: Invite BFFs & track savings together.
✨ Gamified Experience: Fun challenges & rewards!
✨ Parental Matching: Parents can contribute bonuses for hitting milestones.

Step 3: Design Your App (Mock-Ups)

Here are the core screens for you to design & sketch:

📱 1. Home Screen – Shows user’s total savings, active savings goals, and a motivational quote!
📱 2. Savings Goal Screen – Lets users set an event goal (example: concert 🎤) & see a progress bar.
📱 3. Squad Savings Screen – See how much each friend has contributed & send fun emoji messages.
📱 4. Savings Challenges – Daily/weekly challenges to boost savings (example: ‘Save $5 today for a badge! 🎉’)
📱 5. Rewards & Badges – Unlock cute stickers, themes, and in-app goodies when goals are reached!

Step 4: Pick a Look & Feel

💖 Colour Scheme: Examples: pastels (pink, purple, mint, gold).
🔠 Fonts: playful & stylish (e.g., Quicksand, Poppins).
📸 Images & Icons: piggy banks, sparkles, squad avatars.
📍 Layout: easy, fun, and user-friendly with cute animations.

Step 5: Get User Feedback!
