Susan leads a team at Datamine that helps mining companies figure out exactly how much valuable stuff is hidden underground using clever science and software. She’s a master problem-solver who finds joy in mentoring others and making sense of tricky geological puzzles. Her best advice? Without mining:

• You couldn’t charge your tablet or phone; in fact you wouldn’t even have them!
