We may modify these Terms at any time without notice to you by posting revised Terms on our site. Your use of our site constitutes your binding acceptance of these Terms, including any modifications thereto.

If any part of the Terms were to be declared or deemed illegal, unenforceable or invalid by a competent authority, then that part would be considered null and non-written, but all other items would not be affected and would still be binding.

By using and/or visiting this Website (collectively, including all content), you signify your assent to these Terms which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to any of these Terms, then please do not use the Website or access therein.

THE EVENT

The Girls Day Out in STEM (GDOS) Future New Worlds Tour referred to as “The Event” will begin on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 9:00am AEST.

ELIGIBILITY 

Persons who are aged 10-14 years under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who is 18 years or older who agrees to be bound by these Terms may use this Website and are referred to as “Participants”. We reserve the right to restrict access to the Website if it is discovered or brought to our attention that you are a minor without a parent or legal guardian’s permission.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS 

The Website has content referred to as “Content” which is including but not limited to: text, webinars,[masterclass] events, written copy, software, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features and the trademarks, service marks and logos which are owned by or licensed to Eureka Explorer or its sponsors and is subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under the laws of Australia and international conventions. Content on this Website is provided to you “as is” for your information and personal use only and may not be used, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any other purposes whatsoever without the prior written consent of the respective intellectual property rights owners.

We reserve all rights not expressly granted in and to the Website and the Content. You agree to not engage in the use, copying, or distribution of any of the Content of third parties obtained through the Website for any commercial purposes, if you access, download or print a copy of the content for personal use, you must retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained therein.

ACCOUNT REGISTRATION 

Registrations close on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 5:00pm AEST. All those registered for The Event will be in a draw. All prizes are limited to one prize per address, household, and/or email per The Event.

Participants are responsible for their account and agree to provide, upon registration, and at all times maintain, accurate, current, and complete information so that prizes can be sent out. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse to provide services to any individual without complete information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during the registration process or at other times proves to be inaccurate, not current or incomplete or is without parent/guardian permission. Participants are responsible for ensuring the confidentiality and security of their password. By registering for The Event, participants consent to receiving marketing emails from Girls Day Out in STEM (GDOS) and Eureka Explorers and consent to automatically be enrolled in our marketing mailing list. Participants may opt out of the mailing list at any time by emailing hello@gdostem.com.au.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONTENT YOU SUBMIT AND WEBSITE CONTENT 

Participants may submit/post/upload content such as, photos, presentations, event information, reviews, comments, messages and the like, are solely responsible for its accuracy and ensure that it does not violate any third-party rights. Participants further understand that all risks, including but not limited to any third-party rights violation, any liability arising from any false, misleading, or defamatory content, shall solely attribute to the Participant and in no case us, including our directors and officers, be liable for any claim or liability arising from such content posted by the Participant, whether posted on the Website or otherwise.

Participants may further understand that we reserve all rights to reject, edit, delete, and move any content without providing any reasons. Participants may further note that we did not verify, adopt or sanction any content and your use of any such content shall be at your own risk. We do not endorse or recommend products/services posted by any party. All contents, logos, branding, recommendations and rankings are opinions of either you or a third party, which may or may not be accurate. We do not assure quality, accuracy, and reliability of any Content/content. You may be exposed to content which is offensive/objectionable on the Website and we are not responsible for that content. The Website and all Content/content must be used at your own risk.

Any Participant who submits content, authorizes us, our partners and our representatives to use, if required, their name, photograph, likeness, declaration, place of residence and/or voice without remuneration whatsoever and that, at their discretion and without limit as for the period of use, in any media and on a worldwide scale, for publicity purposes or for any purpose that will or may be pertinent.

LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES 

We may occasionally include links to other websites. Such websites are governed by their respective privacy policies which are beyond our control. We, therefore, have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

Participants in The Event release us, any affiliated companies or sponsors, our advertising and/or promotional agencies, our employees, agents and/or representatives, from any and all liability for damages which Participants could suffer as a result of participating or trying to participate in The Event.

TERMINATION 

We may, at our sole discretion, and at any time, terminate or restrict Participants use or access to this Website (or any part thereof) for any reason, including, without limitation, if we believe you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these Terms.

CONFIDENTIALITY 

We will treat all information provided by the Participant(s) including but not limited to information regarding the Participant's name, address, telephone number, date of birth, events/webinars interest, gender, e-mail address, organizations, etc. confidential. We will not in the ordinary course disclose any personal information to any third parties except in the following circumstances: where we are compelled to do so under applicable law/judicial process/governmental authorities; or where the Participant has provided his/her prior written authorizations to do so. 

FORCE MAJEURE 

We are not responsible for failure or delay of The Event under these Terms resulting from a force majeure event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation, natural disasters, acts of God, government regulations, war, terrorism, labor disputes and power failures. 

FEEDBACK/CONTENT 

Any and all Content sent to us, such as photos, polling and survey results, suggestions for corrections, updates, alterations, changes, or modifications will be the property of Eureka Explorers and you hereby assign any rights to us as such, without any consideration to you. 

PRESCRIBED FEE / PAYMENT TERMS 

The registration fee inclusive of all taxes shall be paid by Participants to us prior to every event unless the ticket fees are paid by our partners and/or sponsors.

Participants must fill out the registration form before the event week ends on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 5:00pm AEST. We reserve the right to accept/reject the registration of any Participant.

DATA PROTECTION 

We reserve the right to retain the Participant’s information and can use it for the purpose of communicating/promoting products and services which may be of interest to the Participant. 

In case where the Participant wishes to stop receiving information with regard to communications from us, you may inform us at hello@gdostem.com.au. 

THE DRAW

All participants who complete a challenge(s) for The Event and submit their work to us will be entered into the draw for each respective challenge. All participants completing and submitting work for The Event will be entered into the final draw for the Grand Prize. All prizes are limited to one prize per address, household, and/or email per The Event.

The draw for prizes will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024 and will begin at 9:00am AEST. It will continue until all prize winners have been chosen. Winners will be notified by email on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

PRIZES 

All prizes are third party products and we do not claim or own any rights therein. All rights belong to the respective copyright holders. Participants release us and any affiliated companies or sponsors, our advertising and/or promotional agencies, our employees, agents and/or representatives, from any and all liability for any and all damages that Participants may suffer from the acceptance or use of their prize. In order to be declared a winner, Participants, if required, prior to obtaining their prize, may be required to sign a declaration form to such effect.

Prizes may not be exchanged for cash. All prizes are as is and shall be awarded based on the draw. We are not responsible for faulty or damaged prizes that Participants may receive. We are not responsible for prizes lost by third party delivery services and in such cases will not be replaced.

The odds of a Participant being selected depends upon the number of registrants at the time of the draw.

GOVERNING LAW 

The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
