Our First Nations Peoples were Australia’s first scientists, astronomers and environmentalists who learned to live in harmony with their lands. May we listen to, and learn from their 65000 years of wisdom to love and care for our land, water, atmosphere and all living things

Meet the panel

I am a Manager in Deloitte Access Economics working with the economic analysis and public policy team. My expertise is in microeconomic analysis, non-market valuation and labour market and skills policy. I love working at Deloitte and supporting our clients with strategic policy and impactful evidence for them. I am looking forward to meeting you.

Hi, I am also a manager at Deloitte Australia. My focus is on strategic economic policy, and I am also a space industry enthusiast. If any of you are considering a focus on space in the STEM industry, I would be happy to take your questions! See you on Sunday!

I am a Security Engineer at Google. I work on hunting for badness in our network and systems and also developing automation to make the process more efficient. Outside of work I enjoy running and reading and cooking up a feast for family and friends.

I am also a Security Engineer detecting badness in Google's cloud systems. I enjoy rock-climbing in my free time.

I am a Security Engineer newbie at Google. I previously worked as a penetration tester (ethical hacker) to find potential badness in websites before other people did. When I am not at work I enjoy reading, playing tennis or basketball, and baking / eating lots of cake.

I am a mathematician and have worked in the finance industry for three years and now undertaking my PhD at QUT. I am also a TEDx Talk presenter and children’s book author. I hope to inspire the next generation of thinkers into STEM, one story at a time.
